Behind The Scene

One Kitchen. Two Generations. Two Passions.

Welcome to Cozy Mom Kitchen — a little corner of the internet built by Rose Lewis and her daughter Grace Lewis, a mom-daughter duo who couldn’t be more different in what excites them, yet couldn’t be closer in how they were raised: at the same table, in the same home, learning that showing up for the people you love always starts with care.

What started as a simple vegan recipe blog has grown into something a little more personal — a space where Rose shares the recipes that raised us, and Grace shares the style that’s helping her find her own voice. Same family. Same warmth. Two very different worlds, living under one roof (and now, one website).

Cozy Mom Kitchen started the way most good things do — out of love, not strategy. Cooking (all vegan, always from scratch, always with substitutions written down for the next tired weeknight) has been Rose’s way of taking care of her family for years before it ever became a blog.

Every recipe here has been made in a real kitchen, tested on a real family, and tweaked until it earned its place in the rotation. This isn’t food styled for a photo — it’s food that’s fed a household, and now it’s here to feed yours too.

The fashion side of this website is younger, newer, and still figuring itself out — which is exactly the point. Growing up watching Rose build something from a home kitchen made it clear that you don’t need to have it all figured out to start; you just need to start.

This corner of the site is for the pieces worth knowing about — the ones that photograph well, wear even better, and don’t break the bank. Every listicle, every “outfit for under $X” post, every “5 pieces to build your closet around” post — is picked, tried, and vouched for before it ever makes the list.

Why We Put Food and Fashion on the Same Website

We get it — most blogs pick one lane. But our home never worked that way. Dinner conversations at our house have always bounced between “what’s for dinner” and “did you see what she’s wearing” in the same breath, and that’s really what this website is: an honest reflection of the two people who run it.

If you came here for the recipes, stay for the outfit inspiration. If you came here for the fashion picks, you might just leave with a new favorite dinner too. Either way, you’re getting a peek into how our family actually lives — one recipe, one outfit, one honest recommendation at a time.

Come Say Hi

Whether you’re here to fix dinner or fix your closet, we’re glad you stopped by. This is a family project — built one post at a time, by two people who happen to share a home, a website, and a love for making things a little easier for the people reading.

Join the CozyMomKitchen Family

More than anything, I started this blog to connect with other moms, dads, and homemakers who find joy in simple, everyday moments. Here, you’re not just a reader—you’re a friend joining me in the kitchen and home. I hope my stories remind you that it’s okay if things get a little messy sometimes, because there’s beauty in imperfection. You might try one of my recipes and find comfort in a familiar flavor, or pick up a decorating idea and feel proud of the beautiful space you’ve created.

I love hearing from you! Leave a comment, send a photo of your latest kitchen creation, or just say hi—it truly makes my day. Together, we’ll share tips, laugh over cooking mishaps, and celebrate the little victories of homemaking. This community is all about warmth, support, and encouragement, and I can’t wait for you to be a part of it.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and CozyMomKitchen. I’m grateful for each of you and excited to have you along on this cozy journey. Let’s fill our homes with delicious smells and our hearts with happiness, one recipe and one craft at a time.
